My name is Anne Schönfeld and I was born and raised in the beautiful south of Germany.
After school I traveled for a year around New Zealand and figured out what I want to do in my life. I decided to follow two of my passions: writing and philosophy. So I studied German and Philosophy at the University of Tübingen in Germany. I graduated in 2019 and shortly after that I moved to Ireland. Simply because I couldn't see myself living in Germany. I like following my gut and found myself in Kilkenny and after a while I ended up in West Cork. Of course it takes time to settle down, to figure out where you want to go and what you want to do. German was and always will be important to me because it is a very expressive and profound language, which I learned to love since I was a little child, after all, Germany is called the country of thinkers and poets for a reason, just like Ireland. So with this passion it was just a matter of time until I opened myself to the possibility to teach the language in different ways. |
I am very grateful to teach this wonderful language with all my heart and passion. So, have a browse around and I am looking forward starting your journey of learning German when you’re ready. This way learning German can be a lot of fun and if you are committed and open to learn the language, I can promise you as your teacher that I'll be 100% committed and give all my heart into your learning and growing process.
My second passion philosophy came as an early interest in my life, when I discovered the depth of my thoughts. Through the Philosophy course I got a deeper understanding of different ways to live your life and about life itself. This combined with my naturally sensitive nature and the ability to see and understand the human being gives me the opportunity to accompany you in times of struggle and worry. This is an honour and I feel very grateful for it.
