"Anne is a superb teacher. Our son James - who is dyslexic- took an interest in German after we visited Germany on a family holiday. He didn’t do Irish because he had an exemption so we thought that learning another language would be impossible. But when your son asks for something, you do what you can.
Anne was living near us in Dublin at the time and was offering German classes.
We spelt out all the potential barriers but she concentrated on the possibilities. Three years later, James sat German in the Leaving Certificate (without ever having taken it in secondary school). He got an A1! His oral assessor said she had never met another student who sat the leaving without ever taking German in school, apart from a native speaker or the son/daughter of a native speaker.
But more than that achievement, James built a brilliant bond with Anne. He is more than a year on from his Leaving Cert but continues to improve his German with Anne’s assistance. He takes two classes a week and hopes to do his third year of University in a German third level institution. Yes. Through German. Having seen what Anne helped him achieve as a kid with dyslexia, I would bet against it. Wunderbar!"

"I started learning German as a beginner in October 2022, and now only two years later I am quite confident in the language and I’m ready to sit it at higher level in the Leaving Cert. Anne is an amazing teacher who made me very comfortable from the beginning. Her lesson plans are very detailed and she covered five years of the course with me in such a short time. I couldn’t recommend her more to anyone learning German for the first time, or anyone struggling with the Leaving Cert course!"

"Anne is a wonderful German teacher , my son has been studying with Anne for the past year and he has vastly improved his oral and written skills with her assistance .Anne is a great teacher who instills confidence through a patient and dedicated approach . The online class suited my son and Anne was flexible and accommodating with dates and times when it was required due to other commitments."

"Anne is an excellent German teacher! She taught my daughter for two years, via Skype and my daughter has gone from wanting to learn German to having a real love for the language. She is now hoping to travel and work in Germany or Switzerland. The online lessons worked really well for us and Anne was flexible over holiday times. German wasn't a language option in my daughter's school, but my daughter progressed enough in her first year with Anne, that she decided to do it as an extra leaving cert subject and will be sitting her exam next week! I would highly recommend Anne as an enthusiastic teacher who makes the lessons fun and engaging while teaching all elements of the language."
